Professional Background

1968-1971 -    Working in the Tel Aviv Waterfront Development scheme , which was a collaboration of various firms: Rechter,  Yaski, Niv Reifer, Nadler Nadler Bixon. At the end of  that period I became the head of the collaboration’s   office.

1971-1978 -    Working at Rechter-Zarhi architects, Peri Engineer – in that capacity managing: (as the architect in charge & head of team of design) the following projects: 

  • Astoria Hotel” now “Dan Panorama”)—504 rooms (built).
  • Neighborhood unit of 300 apartments&hotel Herzelia (not built)
  • Town Planning scheme for “Pardes Margoshes” (160 dunam) containing: 1050 apartments 46,000 sq.m. commercial area (almost finished).
  • Yuval Hotel” — 800 rooms at the Tel Aviv Waterfront (not built).

  1. Participated as a lecturer at the convention “The University at the year 2010”.

  3. Participated at the Israeli Biennale -“Merhav” — presentation of a private house in an urban area.
  4. An adviser to the institute for research & development of Education
  5. Institution – headed of Prof. Moti Sokolov.
  6. A student (under my guidance) — received the first prize among all Israeli students from “Architect Association” for (synagogue project).
  7. A project led by Arch. Michal Kimel-Eshkolot and by myself — was published in the magazine “Israeli Architecture”.
  8. Receiving the Honorary for excellence in teaching by the university rector, The first among all faculty teachers.
  9. “Thursday on the campus” – a plan designed and submitted by me to the president of Tel Aviv university. The plan was accepted and is being carried out throughout the campus and getting acceleration from week to week.

  • An urban house in Afeka — Tel Aviv, (with architect Dan Liad), It was published ¡n the magazine “Architectura” and an appreciation essay

  2. Judge in the committee to decide upon the winner of “Elhanan Peles” award.
  3. A member in the committee to chose the winners of the “Builders Prize”-for 2 years.
  4. A judge in the competition of designing a police station.
  5. Chairman in the committee of judges to give award to the distinguished students in the Faculty of Architecture in Technion — Haifa.
